Zoops FORGELITE™ billet alluminum pulleys are
made from billet 6061-T6 by using an Aerospace Forging Process.
This process creates pulleys that are 400% STONGER than cast
pulleys and 50% STRONGER than plain billet pulleys!Zoops pulleys
are forged in a unique process that allows the metal to be
formed to the shape of the pulley-resulting in an ULTRA-STRONG
Forging that is just like the forged crankshaft and pistons
used in high performance motors. In fact, more than 1800 forgings
are used in a Boeing 747 airplane!! For durability and safety,
each pulley is heat treated to a T6 condition which HARDENS
and STRENGTHENS the pulley forging to PREVENT fatigue cracking.
We then DOUBLE TEMPER the forging to improve overall toughness
and to prevent warping under load.
